The SLU is also running special lending programs designed to provide financing for specific purposes. Under this category, the SLU has signed two financing agreements:
An agreement with UNDP financed by the Italian government for the total amount of $ 70,000 to help in rebuilding production capacities of some projects and restart their business operations that has been damaged during the Israeli incursions to Bethlehem. This fund has been fully utilized.
An agreement with her Excellency Sheikha Fatimeh Bint Mubarak Al Kutabi for the total amount of UAE Dirham 200,000 ($ 50,000) to finance SMEs in the handicraft sector.
